Are you using symbolic links in the filesystem ?

On my machine (OS X), I've been having endless problems with .svn
directories appearing, and common refactor functions not working (because
eclipse isn't calling subclipse, but just copying rather than svn move-ing).
I'd previously been using eclipse/subclipse for years on windows with no
problems whatsoever.

I had my projects symlinked to other disks for ease of location. I recently
re-imported my projects directly from where they are, rather than from a
location that had links in it, and (although I haven't been running for
long) so far it's been ok. Absence of proof and proof of absence and all
that...
