All I can think of is that the plugin was installed in a way that you
do not have permissions to it. I've never heard of anything like that.
 Even if you were not authorized to the SVN libraries on your system
it should fall back to SVNKit.

Subclipse requires a Sun JVM. Maybe your setup is such that you are
getting that JVM when you run as root, but GCJ when running as your
user? Help > About > Configuration Details will reveal the JVM you
are using.

Our update site includes integrations for Mylar and Mylyn. Just
select the right one.
