[Subclipse-users] Eclipse 3.3.0 / subclipse 1.2.4 installation problem

Hi all,

I am a user of Eclipse 3.3.0 under Mandriva Linux / x86 / sun 1.5.0_12 jdk. I am not administrator of the machine, but as far as i have understood, i should be able to install the subclipse plug-in in my home directory. I followed the instructions given here : http://subclipse.tigris.org/install.html , and i get 4 features to install : mylar, buckminster, integ for mylyn, and subclipse 1.2.4 : i select only this latter. Unfortunately, eclipse refuses to install the plug-in ('Finish' is disabled) and says, when i click on 'error details...' :
Subclipse (1.2.4) requires plug-in "org.eclipse.core.resources (3.2.0)", or later version.
I have double-checked the mailing lists, googled a lot, i found that i am not the first person to encounter this problem. However, the only solution i found was 'i reinstalled eclipse', but i can't do that.

One hint maybe :
In the Help / about eclipse menu, i can have infos about plug-ins, and i see in the list :
org.eclipse.core.resources version 3.3.0.v20070604
org.eclipse.core.resources.compatibility version 3.2.100.v20070502
I guess this later may be used by subclipse ?
Informations about eclipse configuration gives the following :

It seems that i may not have any instance of 3.2 compatibility (plug-in is 'resolved' but not 'active'), may this be the problem ?? Is there a log file somewhere where i could gather some informations ?
