The colours are actually hard coded per team provider. The subclipse
colours are based on the original CVS ones which were changed just
before 3.3 was released. Updating the colours is trivial, but I was
going to wait for someone to actually complain before doing it. No one
has yet :)
However, i think you have managed to put the annotate ruler into the age
based colouring mode (you have to run the annotate action first). Right
click on the annotation ruler, select "revisions" then select "Combined
Coloring". I don't think there are any preference pages to configure this.
