There is documentation in the Eclipse online help.

I would not call this a stupid question. It is a little unclear what
your question is. For example, Subclipse is a Subversion CLIENT. You
do not use Subclipse to create a repository or to serve a repository.
You would need to use Subversion command line, etc. for that. Once
you have a repository and a server, you enter the Subversion URL used
to access that repository into Subclipse.

For example, if you wanted to look at the code in the Apache Jakarta
project, you would enter a repository URL of:

http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/jakarta
