[Subclipse-users] Problems with linked sources and Subclipse

Hi Folks!

I am currently facing the following problem with the Subclipse:

I do have an existing Eclipse project that mainly consists of the
.project and .classpath file (that I do not want to have under version
control) and a linked source folder that exists in a different
filesystem-location than the project itself. Those files
(Java-sources) are already a working copy of my SVN repository(have a
.svn directory). Sadly the Subclipse plugin does not seem to recognize
the files in Linked source folders. Am I right with this assumption?

I also had another Java project which had its Java source in the same
directory tree as the .project file (the project-information was
created with mvn eclipse:eclipse). After "Import existing Java
projects into workspace" all Java sources were correctly interpreted
by the Subclipse plugin. This proves that my general approach of
importing existing Java projects is not wrong but somehow it does not
work with linked source folders.

Any support on this topic would be really helpful.

Best Regards,
