RE: [Subclipse-users] Issue

Hi Ryan,

If I understand correctly what you are saying, note that Subclipse will
not tell you automatically when something in the repository has changed.
It can tell you when there is something you have changed since you
checked out - that's a local issue. but not if someone else has made a
change to the repository (a remote issue). I guess this is to prevent
the constant bandwidth hogging by subclipse/version that would be
required to be constantly checking the repository for changes.

You need to use Sync (or similar) which will then communicate with the
repository and find out what has changed - it will then tell you your
changes, remote changes etc.

If that's not what you are getting at, then you need to check that the
decorators are enabled for Subclipse - that's in the Eclipse setup menus
somewhere...

James

        Hi,

I am not sure whether this is the correct place to submit this,
please can you advise me if I need to submit this query somewhere else.

I installed the latest version of subeclipse a few days ago, and
everything seemed to work. But after a few days the files stopped being
highlighted as out of of synch with repository. i.e. in the eclipse
navigator pane the file icons no longer highligh whether they are in
synch with the repository or not.

I am not sure how to restore this. I cannot see anything in the
documentation that relates to it.

I hope this makes sense. Do not hesitate to contact me if you
require futher information.

        Kind Regards

        Ryan
