Check whether the Java VM is generating a core dump or crash log. Sun's
JVM generates the latter in the working directory.

Also, follow Mark's suggestion and check the .log file in the workspace
directory. For instance on UNIX it will be store
in /home/username/workspace_location/.metadata/.log . I don't know about
Win32 Eclipse, you'll have to read Eclipse's documentation.
