> Hello Javier. Thank you for your reply. My version is 1.0.0. I didn't care about the version, just installed it using the update manager. I relied on the update manager (update URL: http://subclipse.tigris.org/update/) and expected it to install the latest release. What might I have done wrong?

Only that the recommended Subclipse version for the Eclipse 3.2.x series
was 1.2. That includes, to some extent, the betas/release candidates
that led to it. Even 1.0.0 is way old. There have been 5 releases since
than on the 1.0.x branch and they all seem to fix important bugs.
Please upgrade to Subclipse 1.2.3 by setting the update site URL to
http://subclipse.tigris.org/update_1.2.x and try again.
Greetings,
