[Subclipse-users] subclipse created copy of project under project??

Hi folks,
hopefully this won't be a terribly ignorant question but I'm rather new to
subversion/subclipse. I have an existing project in subversion that I'm
maintaining. I used subclipse to create a branch to do some work in. I used
the subclipse switch feature to try and switch between my branch and the
trunk in the same workspace.

Now it appears that all my projects, both in trunk and my branch, have
subfolders just below the root project folder checked in to subversion, that
are exact copies of the parent project folder. E.g., eclipse project_a
checked in to eclipse, after branching and "switching" project_a has
project_a/project_a. Is this expected behavior or has something bollacksed
up (or rather, have I bollacksed something up)?
