[Subclipse-users] svnant: slow checkout

Hi,

we recently switched from CVS to Subversion (1.4.0). We have an ant-driven Nightly Build on a Win2003 Server system and used svnant (svnant-1.1.0-RC2.zip) to access subversion.

However, it turned out that checkout is really slow. A quick test showed that replacing the <svn [...]> <checkout [...]/> command by <exec executable="svn.exe" [...]> would speed up the checkout from 50 minutes to 12 minutes. Any ideas why this could be the case?

If this is the wrong list for this question then please point me to the right place :-)
