You have to write to the JavaHL adapter. SVNKit will come along for free.
You will also have to use the Subversion trunk code for 1.5. I have a
1.5branch in Subclipse that has an old build. I do not remember if
the diff
--summarize was done yet then or not.

I would do the work there.
