Just for the record I also get this duplicated sync from time to time (not very often).

The double entries go away after clicking first on Incoming or Outgoing Mode and then back to Incoming/Outgoing mode button. Quite annoying and more important - it makes me insecure.

I doubt you could provide anything that would be useful, I would not even know what I would want to get. The synch view is hard to code.
Somehow this problem is probably related to this issue:

So I would suggest adding your problem to that issue.
