Hi Subversion Users and Developpers,
We are using a SubVersion repository for some of our J2EE projects.
Ours projects are developped with Eclipse Callisto 3.2.x using Maven 2 and
Continuum.
Due to Maven 2 specifications, our projects are organised with Parent
Project and Module. Only modules are availabled under Eclipse. Parent
projects aer only accessed through Explorer.
Intialy, we were using Eclipse 3.0 / SubVersion 1.2 and later 1.3 /
Subclipse 1.0.x / TortoiseSVN 1.3
Since, we are using Eclispe 3.2.x Callisto, some of our have upgrade their
environment with Subclipse 1.1.x (future 1.2).
It appears that Subclipse is able to work with Working area extracted by
TortoiseSVN. But TortoiseSVN is not more able to acces Working area
extracted or create by Subclipse.
The .svn directories issued from Subclipse have :
- one directory missing : wcprops-
- the entries file is no more in XML.
My Questions :
- Do I have to downgrad Subclipse to 1.0.x ?
- Does exist a Tortoise release compatible with Subclipse 1.1.x
- Does exist a procedure to convert .svn direcories.
- Is it always possible to combinate the usage of these both SVN clients
Regards
Vincent
