It is all working as expected -- based on what you described at least.
The problem is that when the project was imported you most likely did
not already have a repository location defined for the project
location, so one was created on the fly using the full URL. I have
tried to change this in the past to add the location using the root
URL, and actually I thought it was working that way now. That would
be the area to improve this though. I guess another possibility is
that you already had that location defined using the full URL from a
past project.
