[Subclipse-users] looking for a 1.3-compatible subclipse for eclipse 3.2 on ubuntu

Hi folks.

I'm running Ubuntu 6.10, which ships with a subversion 1.3 client.

Is there a 1.3-compatible subclipse somewhere that I can install? I used
the latest subclipse version to update my working copy, and now the 1.3
client says it's too old to understand the repository.

I spent some time yesterday trying to build subversion 1.4.2 for Ubuntu,
but gave up after it needed a bunch of stuff and then still didn't
understand https (grr). Also, I couldn't get the javahl native client to
work on Ubuntu either - that might be another option.
