Which adapter are you trying to use ? I guess that it is JavaHL ? Because violent JVM/Eclipse crash would occur more "easily" with some native code linked with JNI, isn't it ?

If using JavaHL, maybe you could try checkouting your repo using JavaSVN instead, which is a pure java adapter. (selectable in window/preferences/Team/SVN).

Hope this helps.

Subject: [Subclipse-users] Eclipse crashes when checking out on Core 2 Duo MacBook Pro.

I am trying to get Subclipse working on a Core 2 Duo MacBook Pro.

It installs normally, and I can add and browse repositories, but when I try
to check out a project, it crashes Eclipse. I'm not sure where the crash
information is logged (nothing shows up in the Errors View when I restart
Eclipse) and I don't see a way to capture the information that's shown in
the dialogue when Eclipse bails. It starts with 'Exit Code = 6'.

- I'm running OS X 10.4.8 with all Java updates installed, including the SWT
Compatibility patch from ADC.

- I've tried the latest couple of release builds of Eclipse 3.2 as well as
the current stable build of 3.3.

- I've tried installing Subclipse from both the 1.0.x and 1.2.x update
sites.

- I started with the Subversion binaries from Metissian and then switched to
Martin Ott's 1.4.x binaries.

Regardless of which combination I use, the behavior is the same. Subversion
is working normally on its own or in combination with other clients like
SmartSVN.

Suggestions? Specific log files I can hunt down in order to provide more
details?

Thanks,
Jason
