[Subclipse-users] Importing SVN stored projects

BTW - I always find my current state one of the most important states
to be in for QA that is as an ignorant uninitiated user. Because
once you are "too close" to it you are blind to how the unitiated
confront it :) Hence this post.

I just tried to "import a project from SVN" - I checked in the entire
tree on another machine from the prior CVS version.

Compared to the way importing works with the CVS plugin I experienced:

- you have to explicitly click on the repository location every time,
in the CVS module it either retains "the last repository used" or
takes the one on "the top of the list" if you don't explicitly click
on it. A convenient nicety.

- It apparently isn't checking for and pre-scanning the contents of
the ".project" file in the directory and asks which wizard you want
it to use to "scan the contents", even though there is a .project
file in the directory which you are checking out. This creates fear
where one worrys that it might overwrite the existing project file
and lose settings. (is there any chance of this?)
