Thanks for your quick response. I have tried a number more things, to
no avail.

I tried updating to 1.1.7 using the link you gave me, as well as a
number of different links I found on the subclipse site, but none of
them provided 1.1.7.

I tried switching from JavaHL (which wasn't installed since I'm running
on Debian) to JavaSVN, and neither worked. I just tried installing the
Debian javahl package (libsvn-javahl), but that didn't work either. In
the Preferences dialogue, it tells me: "JavaHL interface is not
available. Check your environment."

Any thoughts?
