[Subclipse-users] overwriting files without being marked for deletion

Is there a way to avoid Subclipse from marking the file for deletion when
you copy & overwrite a file? At the moment, subclipse seem to automatically
mark the file for deletion when I copy and overwrite a versioned file from
within eclipse. The bad thing is that it only marks the file for deletion
and does not add the new file (since it's the same filename). It would be
better if it doesnt delete the file at all and simply marked the file as
being modified if the contents has changed.

Any ideas?

Thanks
Duke
