that means however that subclipse is inconsistent with the original behavior of
the synchronize view (which was of course implemented as part of the CVS
plugin, but the SV is more of an eclipse feature). That is not good IMO.

now, even if I didnt save my changes, should subclipse be allowed to silently
overwrite the underlying file? And wouldnt eclipse have complained loudly if
the unsaved file was changed on disk?
