At one point he was using the old update site URL. I believe that 1.0.0
is the last version that was put on that old site. Once 1.0.0 was
installed, a check for updates would look to the new site and pull down
the latest.

He has to have networking issues on his end, he cannot even download the
zip file using his browser.
