RE: [Subclipse-users] SvnAnt : Propget with URL

Well,

I’ve commited the improved propget into trunk in r2491.

Besides the “path” attribute, there’s now “url” there which gets properties
directly from repository.

There’s no actual release plan for the 1.1 version there, so if you really
need this feature, you’ll have to checkout svnAnt’s trunk and build it
yourself …

No, unfortunately there’s no way how to get prop of a remote resource.

In theory the propget target can be extended with url attrib (besides
current path).

You can file a patch or bug/request.

Subject: [Subclipse-users] SvnAnt : Propget with URL

hello,

I am using svnant to get properties from the svn repository (using
<propget>). I'd like to get properties directly on the repository.
Given the examples, I assumed the path is a local path, and I need a
checkout to get the property.

Is there a way to provide a remote URL (in order to avoid the checkout) ?

Thx
