This was a side-effect of adding support for key bindings. When we
created commands to be used for the key bindings we also created the menu
and toolbar buttons. They were supposed to be off by default, like the
ones provided by CVS. You could use Customize Perspective to enable them.
I have not had a chance to look into this and did not provide the
original patch. For now, you can use Customize Perspective to remove the
menu.
