as far as I can tell that does show the changes for the given revision only, and
therefore provides the info I was requesting. Seems strange, however, that this
would only be accessible from the context menu in the package browser, and not
from the history view.

since we're talking about the history view - I have always been wondering about
the purpose and/or benefit of the lower subpanes. The right one seems to show
the revision comment, which is already visible in the top pane. The left one
seems to show all files affected in the given revision, which I find confusing
if I am looking at the history of just one file.

Both of these panes IMO are just eating space with no real benefit.
