   I am not exactly sure how the old view detected those changes. I saw
that it registered itself as a IResourceStateChangeListener upon
creation and then in resourceSyncInfoChanged() method refreshed view
content, but not sure if it is enough.

   Also note, that it is probably necessary to unregister all the
listeners that page may create (selection, change, etc), so this is also
something to look at...
