As others have pointed out, it is essentially impossible to block this on
a public mailing list. That being said, we as project owners, have no
ability to control the tigris.org hosting service and how it works. In
this case, the archives you speak of are a service that an individual is
providing so that we have better searchable archives. This same
discussion has happened on some of the other Subversion mailing lists and
it was concluded that there is nothing that can be done anyway. At least
that is how I remembered i. You would have to search the archives to find
those discussions.
Anyway, you would want to contact the email address listed as the admin on
those archives if you want anything done.
