I saw this bug in the run up to Subversion 1.3. It was fixed in the GA
release of 1.3. I'd guess you do not have the latest version of the
Subversion libraries.
Also, you should be more specific about your problems with JavaSVN. It is
hard to know if you tried it on an old version or if you are having a
known problem. Using JavaSVN with Subclipse 1.0.1 is generally pretty
easy.
