[Subclipse-users] What is Tags column on Resource History used for?

I'm doing a "Right click on a file -> Team -> Show Resource History" to
get to the Resource History.

After our recent migration to SVN, some of the developers were
expecting to see tag information in the Tags column similar to CVS.
This column is blank both for project files that were converted to SVN
using the cvs2svn tool and those created in SVN to begin with. While
cvs2svn did create the proper branches/tags that matched our CVS
branches/tags, it didn't populate this column and I thought maybe we
would start to see data in this column going forward (as we did svn
copy's to create branches/tags). Not the case.

My response to them so far is that it is really not necessary to see
info in this column because (at least going forward) the "Affected
paths" box will show info about where this branch/tag was copied from
which is really kind of better than CVS's tag labels. I wish I had a
better answer for them.
