[Subclipse-users] Problem checking out a project

Hi all,

I'm having hard times with subclipse 0.9.106, if i try to checkout a
java project from a repository and the .project exists the checkout
fails without error messages and i find a empty project folder in the
workspace, if i checkout a simple project all works fine.

some details:

Ubuntu 5.10 fully updated (kernel is latest K7-smp)
Sun JDK 1.5.0_06
Eclipse 3.2M5 Linux GTK
subclipse 0.9.106
CDT 3.0.2
xmlbuddy 2.0.75

step to reproduce:

1) create a SVN repository in the SVN perspective

2) right-click on a java project module with a .project inside

3) choose checkout as a project in the workspace (the other option is
disabled)

4) follow the steps with the wizard (project name is precompiled, and
location is default)

5) the progress view popup for a while and then disappear immediatly
without any error

6) SVN console is empty

7) a empty and closed project with the selected name appear in the workspace

I had a look to the issuetracker and found nothing.

Thanks and Regards

Fabio Frumento
