Neil,
Is the entire dialog grayed out or only the option "Check out as a
project configured using the New Project Wizard"?
In the latter case, the folder you're checking out probably already
contains a .project file, so there's no point in using the New Project
Wizard to configure the project. If this is your problem, you should be
able to complete the Checkout... wizard using Next/Finish and check out
the project from the repository.
