RE: [Subclipse-users] asterisk icon in top level folder won't go away

Hi,

Just set a property named svn:ignore with content bin on the top folof your
project.
Then do team->update and team->Commit on this folder.
The asterisk should go away. It stays beacuse you have an uncommitted
folder. The svn:ignore will notify
Subversion to ignore such a folder.

Subject: [Subclipse-users] asterisk icon in top level folder won't go away

any idea why the top level folder of a project checked out from svn would
have an asterisk icon which won't go away after i commit?

i do have an unversioned bin directory under the folder, could that have
anything to do with it?

it's kind of misleading cause it implies there is a modified file nested
somewhere within the folder tree, but there isn't.

using the most recent version of subclipse (0.9.105)

thanks,
tony.
