[Subclipse-users] Checking out into a subdirectory of a project

From: Karl Auer <kauer_at_biplane.com.au>

I can't figure out how to check out a revision so that it becomes part of a project. There is no problem checking out a revision so that it becomes an entire project in and of itself, but what I'm tryng to do is add a version-controlled vendor branch as a *subdirectory* of a project (see the SVN book, the section "General Vendor Branch Management Procedure").

I do know that I can check out the desired software as a separate project and then link that project into any others that need it (that's how we've been doing it for a long time, with CVS too), and that's probably the way we will do it anyway, so this is more a matter of interest than of need.

Any ideas?

Regards, K.
