[Subclipse-users] svn: Failed to add directory 'test': object of the same name

From: Mike Herrick <mherrick66_at_mac.com>
Date: 2006-01-19 08:36:13 CET

I keep getting errors like when I try to do an update via Subclipse:
update -r HEAD /Users/mike/projectfoo/trunk
svn: Failed to add directory 'test': object of the same name
already exists

What generally causes this? I did find an error in a build script of
the code in question that was deleting a directory that had a .svn in
it, but now I am getting this error for other directories that do not
have this problem.

Sorry if this is a lame q.

Thanks for your help.

Mike
