Or, since it's very likely you're doing web-app development, can you switch
to Eclipse 3.1 and the Web Tool Project plugin (WTP)? That gives you a lot
of what RAD does (basic features, not the UML and other stuff) and since it
has A LOT less extra gee-gaws, it's snappier as well.

Given your requirements, if you cannot move to RAD 6.0, then staying with
CVS sounds like the best option.

Are the RAD 6 options technical or financial? I use RAD 6 with a WAS 5.1
test environment no problem.
