"svn: The VCC property was not found on the resource"

{Apologies if there is a more appropriate place for this - I could not
find it.}

I've just installed Subversion and Subclipse. The installation(s)
appear to work properly,

but in eclipse when I use 'New...' in the SVN Repository Exploring
perspective and specify

an existing repository, it responds with the message:

" Error string not specified yet

svn: The VCC property was not found on the resource"

I've searched everywhere I know to look and can't find anything about
the VCC property

- what it is, how to specify it, or what to specify if I did
find it. I'd appreciate any insight

someone could provide.

Thanks,
