Unable to see the "commit dialog"

in version 0.9.35

Main problem: Unable to see the "commit dialog"

Steps to re-create:
1. select (ctrl-click) multiple changed files/folders (modified/added).
these can be from the same folder or multiple folders.
2. right-click on one of the highlighted files/folders and use "Team ->
Commit".
3. The commit dialog didn't appear.
