Mark,
Thanks for the reply. You are correct - I was using an old version of
JavaHL on an earlier install of Eclipse. I did a clean install of 3.1
last night and had selected JavaSVN but it was generating the errors
in the email I sent last night. I just now installed the latest
Metissian package and now things work fine. Interestingly, the
Team/svn dialog still shows that it is using JavaSVN for the SVN
interface.
So it seems to me that if you once installed a 2.x Eclipse which used
JavaHL and then install a 3.1 Eclipse it is not completely
straightforward to switch over to JavaSVN.
At least if people google for 'notification2' they will now see this
thread and know that the Metissian approach does work.
While I am posting I would like to thank everyone who has worked on
Subclipse. Once I get it installed I love it!
Regards,
Duncan
