I tried to do so, but the page telling me that it will connect to the new URL does actually nothing but flicker as I press "Finish" -- and there is nothing logged in the SVN console?!

Team -> Share Project. If the .svn metadata folders are present the
Wizard will prompt you to reconnect. This is also well covered in the
online help (with screenshots) if you want to give it a look.
