I don't think that this is the problem, because it also happens in the SVN-Repository-Browser: If I try to open a branch of the tree, it queries username and password. I type it in, committing to save it. The branch opens. Inside of the branch, I want to open a subbranch. Again, it queries username and password. And so on.
So there must be a bug somewhere?!

My best guess is that you have an incorrect username and password entered
(and saved) in your repository connection within Subclipse. Consequently,
on every action we send an invalid username and password, so you are the
provider then prompts for a new one.

The best thing to do is just have no username and password into your
connections in Subclipse and then just let the provider prompt you (and
cache the value) when needed.
