Can not see new directories when synchronizing project

I am using subclipse plug-in with Eclipse 3.0
connecting to a subversion 1.1 server. If another user
adds a new directory to the repository after I've
checked out the project, I can see the directory in
SVN Repository view but when I synchronize my working
project with the repository, the new directory doesn't
show up. How can I get the new directory to my working
project? Is this a bug or I am doing something wrong?
