Save password checkbox

I'm using Eclipse Version: 3.1.0 (Build id: I20050627-1435) with
Subclipse 0.9.33. I set up a subversion server that is communicating
over DAV with SSL. Everything is working fine except that I have to
enter my username and password for each sync transaction. The 'Save
password' checkbox seem to be working but for each transaction there are
three etries in the Apache error log telling that the provided password
is wrong (3x [Mon Sep 12 13:49:45 2005] [error] [client 192.168.82.2]
user svnuser: authentication failure for "/svn/repos/project": Password
Mismatch)

I found some hints on the net that it would be best if one enters no
username and password in the setup wizard. I tried that with no effect.

Is it a bug or something I missed during my setup?

Michael
