Thanks for bringing the issue to my attention. There was an open issue in
our issue tracker which I had never given much thought to because I
thought it was just an isolated case where Eclipse did not provide any API
for us. I have probably never tried to copy something before so I never
ran into this. It is definitely a potentially bad problem.

I have added information into our issue and made the description more
generic.
