Feature Request: Proxy Authentication

I want to suggest that a future version of Eclipse can be adjusted to ask for the HTTP Proxy username and password each time Eclipse it is started for the first time (e. g. Eclipse reboot). I'm not amused to see my password be clear-typed in the publicly readable part of the windows registry.
