I'm using command line svn 1.2.3 and the latest Subclipse (without
tmate JavaSVN) with Subclipse set to JavaSVN in the prefs (default is
JavaHL) with a server running subversion 1.1.4 and it appears to all
be working.
All operations are over svn+ssh, as well.
Maybe it's your server version?
