I'm really hoping someone comes along! The rest of the company has been CVS
for many years and due to the nature of our work we have a new branch for
each new customer, and due to our evolution process we may need to backport
changes from one customers branch into the "core" branch or into another
customers branch.
I'm now in the process of trying to convince the company to switch to SVN
from CVS, and my small team is using SVN outside the main loop for a new
component.
At the moment I use the command line to do this outside of eclipse, but I'd
much rather do it graphically within eclipse, and the functionality
described by... the other person :), would be a great help for me in
convincing the management to switch as I think it would make merging
considerably easier.
Anyway, my 2c.
Greg.
Ps. I'd do it myself, but, like everyone else, time is a constraint.

I do not think anyone is going to reject a feature like this, but
ultimately it comes down to someone deciding to join the project and submit
the feature. We only have a handful of committers right now, and those are
mostly part-time, if that. Personally I am trying to focus on the stuff
that needs to be done to get to a 1.0 release. That does not mean that
someone else is not planning to do things like this.
