Are you planning on implementing that change you proposed where JavaSVN
would implement the JavaHL interface but not otherwise replace the classes?
I have been pretty excited to get that implemented so that JavaSVN could
just be another adapter choice.

I would eventually like to see us enhance Subclipse so that you could
specify a different adapter for each connection. That would let you use
JavaSVN for your svn+ssh:// repositories and JavaHL or the CLI for local
file:// access.
