There is the option in Preferences > Team > SVN called 'Select unversioned
resources on commit'.

I believe this allows you to auto select new files.

Now, I remember some time ago someone complained, when the commit dialog was
upgraded, about having new files auto-selected in the commit dialog, and so
it was changed to not auto-select anything.

 

At the time I didn't bother saying anything, but now it's becoming more and
more annoying as our team continues to miss delivering new files.

 

Can we have a poll perhaps on what the majority of users prefer and change
it to that, or can we have a preference somewhere?
