That is the claim. However my personal experience is that this is not
the case. People accessing my 1.1.4 Subversion repositories (with BDB
stores) using 1.2.0 on Windows or OSX Macs kept causing the stores to
become inconsistent requiring recovery. Since I moved to 1.2.0 on the
server (with FSFS stores) there have been no problems.
