Customize perspective with toolbar buttons

Hi,

A couple of weeks back, Mark Phippard commented:

Do the recommendations say not to install Menu / Toolbar items by default (I can understand this) or do they say not to provide them at all? I'd be a little surprised if they recommended not providing them at all... surely this should be left to the user if they wish to customize their perspective?

I think it would be really useful if there was an SVN Command Group (for Customize Perspective) that included an SVN menu and some toolbar buttons. There is already such a command group for CVS, with a quite useful menu (although the toolbar is limited to just one button for some reason).

Anyone else out there think this would be a good idea? Or is there some reason I've overlooked that makes it unfeasible?

Cheers,
Daniel
